A High Court jury has found one man guilty of murder and a woman guilty of manslaughter but acquitted three others over the stabbing of an Invercargill teenager near a stadium last year.
Jack McAllister, also known as Jade Fearn, was knifed 14 times near ILT Stadium Southland about 11pm on 7 June, 2017 and died in hospital the next day.
Christopher Brown, 20, has today been found guilty of his murder, following a five-week trial.
Laura Scheepers, 19, has been found guilty of manslaughter.
David Wilson, Natasha Ruffell and a 24-year-old woman, with name suppression, have all been found not guilty of both murder and manslaughter.
Brayden Whiting-Roff, who wielded the knife, had already pleaded guilty to murder.
