The New Zealand Qualifications Authority is investigating a problem with this afternoon's Level 1 NCEA Geography exam.
The Authority said a resource booklet was missing from the exam at a small number of exam centres.
The centres were sent pdf copies of the resource booklets and students were given extra time to complete their examination, it said.
The resource booklet related to one of the three standards covered by the exam.
