Another bombing in Damascus

An explosion in Syria's capital, Damascus, on Tuesday killed at least 14 people and wounded more than 100 others.

Windows were blown from buildings, palm trees caught fire and crumpled vehicles were strewn about.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights in London reported nine civilians and five security force members were killed.

It was the second powerful explosion in the city in 24 hours.

The convoy of Prime Minister Wael al-Halqi was bombed on on Monday. Several bodyguards were killed.
