Fiji's Amalgamated Telecom Holdings, or ATH, has bought controlling interest shares in the Bluesky group of companies from Spain-based Amper SA.
Completion of the $US43.5 million sale was announced by Bluesky Communications.
The transaction involves ATH's acquisition of key telecommunication operators and submarine cables in American Samoa, Samoa, and the Cook Islands.
The final sale of Bluesky assets came after US regulators late last year approved the sale in American Samoa, including the undersea fiber optic cable, American Samoa Hawaii Cable Limited.
