A tractor has crashed into a property in Auckland's North Shore.
Emergency services were called to the house at Glenfield Road before 7.30am.
The occupant, Brendan Schwass, said he heard a loud noise and went to check.
"There was a big crash, and the sound of glass breaking, I thought it might have been a car accident," he said.
"I ran outside and there was a tractor in the side of my house."
The property was left with a hole in the roof and a smashed wall.
Police said no injuries had been reported, while Fire and Emergency said there had been no spills because of the crash.
The tractor was being used to mow grass around a sculpture on a hill opposite his home, Schwass said.
"They were mowing the park up the hill, the driver got out to take some photos and had the handbrake on and everything, but then it just started rolling down the hill and jumped over three lanes of traffic and into my back yard."
Schwass said he was taking the rest of the day off after the crash, and was talking with his insurance company about the damage to his house.
