Food prices have risen for the first time in four months, driven by higher grocery and meat prices.
Official figures show the food price index rose 0.2% in November. Fresh fruit and vegetables fell 4%.
On an annual basis, food prices rose 1.9%.
The food price index makes up 19% of the consumer price index.
