New South Wales is bracing for a major surge in Covid 19 cases - after recording its biggest ever day of cases.
There were 1700 new infections today and health authorities say it's going to rise, and rise.
There are now just over 100 Omicron cases in the state and long queues are forming around clinics as people rush to get tested before the holidays.
