That's the message following a high-level symposium on the legacy of the regional intervention force which will depart Solomon Islands on Friday.
The force arrived more than 14 years ago bringing an end to a bloody and violent period of civil unrest.
Regional experts, government officials, clergy, former politicians and RAMSI leaders gathered this week to look at how the mission worked.
