Flight have been cancelled and ferries delayed as fog a blanket of fog hangs over Auckland.
Dozens of domestic flights have been cancelled and delayed, while drivers around the city are being warned to take care.
Auckland Transport said delays to all ferry services "due to extreme fog in the harbour" should be expected.
Twenty flights out of Auckland Airport were cancelled because of fog coating the runway. A further 14 were delayed.
Auckland Airport said fog restrictions had been in place since 5am.
International flights were not affected.
Pine Harbour ferry services were suspended "until further notice", earlier in the morning.
