A woman has been arrested following a burglary at a south Auckland foodbank.

At least $10,000 worth of goods were taken during the robbery.

The incident was reported to police last Sunday, after a staff member discovered that several boxes containing food were taken from the premises.

The 20-year-old woman was due to appear in the Manukau District Court this afternoon, to face a charge of burglary.

Police said they found stolen food items at the time of her arrest.

They have not ruled out further arrests.
