The Silver Ferns netball captain Silver Ferns captain Casey Kopua has been ruled out of netball for at least six months with a ruptured patella tendon injury.
Kopua suffered the injury in Saturday night's Constellation Cup Test loss to Australia in Sydney.
Scans have revealed the extent of the injury and Kopua had surgery on Tuesday.
She's been replaced in the squad for Wednesdsay night's final Constellation Cup Test in Auckland by Kayla Cullen.
