Two people have been injured after a light plane failed to land on a North Canterbury runway this afternoon.
Police said they were alerted to the crash on Browns Road, in Oxford at 3.20pm when the plane landed short of the runway.
They said one passenger received serious injuries, while the pilot is in a moderate condition.
The plane has been reported to be part of the Oxford Wheels with Wings charity event.
