Fiji MP's react by boycotting parliament

In an eventful few days in Fiji politics, an opposition party has boycotted the official opening of parliament.

The protests come as six prominent Fijians were released from custody without charge after spending a night in a police cell and facing intense police questioning over their role in a meeting last week.

The President of Fiji's National Federation Party, Tupou Draunidalo says the events prove Fiji's democracy is a farce.
