Plunket looks set for a shake-up, as the government promises to make significant changes to health services for under-fives.

A review of the Well Child Tamariki Ora programme has found it's falling short for Māori, Pacific, disabled and high needs children.

Whānau Āwhina Plunket is the largest provider of Well Child Services nationally, covering about 85 percent of the population.

Reporter Sarah Robson asked Plunket's chief executive Amanda Malu whether it too had failed Māori and Pacific whanau.
