Korean fishing vessel Southern Ocean docked at Bluff yesterday with a dead crewman aboard, reportedly the casualty of an accident.

Police are looking for three men who left a vessel at 2pm yesterday. They would not confirm whether the two incidents were related.

However, marine records show the only fishing vessel in the port today is 63m-long Southern Ocean from Korea.

Police said the death of the Chinese crew member had been referred to the coroner.
