Papua New Guinea's Tourism Minister Boka Kondra has appeared before a leadership tribunal hearing into misconduct allegations against him at the Waigani Court.
The Post Courier reports that North Fly MP is accused of misapplying around 70-thousand US dollars of his electorate's District Services Improvement Program funds and district grants.
Last year, Mr Kondra was referred by the Ombudsman Commission to the Public Prosecutor office on the allegations of misconduct of office.
The three-judge tribunal adjourned the hearing to next week.
Whether the MP is suspended from office is expected to be determined next week by the tribunal.
