A man has died following a workplace incident at a construction site in Newmarket, Auckland.

Emergency services are at the scene of the incident at the site on Carlton Gore Road after being notified shortly after 1pm.
Police say a man was injured and died at the scene.
WorkSafe has been notified and an investigation is underway, police said in a statement.
