Three people have been injured in an altercation at an Auckland hotel, one seriously.
Emergency services were called to a hotel on Manukau Road, Epsom around 1pm.
St John Ambulance said they assessed and treated three patients.
One person in a serious condition has been transported to Auckland Hospital and two in a minor condition were treated at the scene.
Police could be seen in the hotel parking lot examining the scene.
Witnesses have told the New Zealand Herald they believed the incident was a stabbing.
The police said enquiries were ongoing.
