Fire crews have removed a broken window which was dangling above pedestrians from a central Auckland high-rise.
Fire and Emergency said it sent two trucks to hotel DoubleTree by Hilton, on Albert Street, at 8.30am.
A spokesperson said the window was hanging precariously from the 15th floor.
Firefighters used ropes to retrieve it safely.
Plans for the hotel were first announced in 2020, with a slated opening date in 2023, but it appears to still not be open yet.
