Two people have died in a three-vehicle crash in Bulls, between Palmerston North and Whanganui.
The police were called to a collision near the intersection of Mchardies Road and State Highway 3 about 4.30pm on Sunday afternoon.
Overnight it was confirmed that two people died at the scene.
The road was closed for several hours but has since reopened.
The cause of the crash is being investigated.
