The New Zealand women's football team for next month's FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Costa Rica has been named and includes five players who won the Oceania under-20 tournament in Auckland at the weekend.
Martine Puketapu, Daisy Cleverley, Isabella Coombes, Elizabeth Anton and Geena Gross were all involved in the Junior Football Ferns side which secured a berth at the FIFA Under-20 Women's World Cup.
The New Zealand Under-17 side will warmup for the World Cup with a 4-nation tournament in Los Angeles against the United States, China and Japan.
New Zealand will play Paraguay, Spain and Japan in group play at the World Cup.
