A suicide bomb and a car bomb in south Damascus suburb Sayyida Zeinab have killed at least eight people, Syrian state media reports.
The car bomb was on a main street of the city, police reported. Several people have reportedly been injured.
The Damascus district is home to Syria's holiest Shia place, the Sayyida Zeinab shrine.
The neighbourhood has been hit at least three attacks claimed by Islamic State militants this month.
