Earlier this morning Arsenal beat Everton 2-nil to climb to third place on the Premier League table, while Liverpool beat Manchester City 2-1 to close in on the top four and put a dent in their opponents' title defence.

Philippe Coutinho scored a sensational winning goal from 25 yards to settle a high quality game, moving Liverpool up to 5th place on the table, casting serious doubts on City's chances of challenging for the top spot.

Manchester City are now five points behind leaders Chelsea, and they've played one more game than the Londoners.
