Chinese company to build Fiji cement factory

Fiji has struck a deal with a Chinese company to set up the country's second cement factory.

FBC News says the company, Tengy Cement, has been given a 99-year lease for 33 acres to construct the plant.

Its director, Bian Yu, says the company will do its best to set up a clean factory in the shortest possible time.

Mr Bian has also promised that the factory will produce high quality cement at a low cost,
