Fiji maritime authorities are investigating a ferry which last week sparked panic when it ran into trouble hours away from its destination.
The MV Liahona was carrying 112 passengers when it lost its forward ramp en route from the capital Suva to the southern island of Kadavu.
The vessel, which safely reached its destination, was docked on Tuesday night and has been given a 'no sail' order by Fiji's Maritime Safety Authority.
The Fiji Sun reported that the captain of the South Islands Traders vessel has apologised to passengers who were on board.
