Football New Zealand has been asked to launch a national anti-racism campaign following allegations of verbal abuse at a game in Wellington.
Seatoun AFC says two of its African players were subjected to racial insults by players from a Lower Hutt club. The Lower Hutt club denies the claims and Capital Football is investigating.
The Seatoun team has launched a 'Kick Racism Out' campaign which is being backed by the Federation of Multicultural Councils.
The Federation wants Football New Zealand to extend the campaign nationwide.
