A new high-level coalition for clean energy has been announced at the Glasgow climate summit, involving major governments, international organisations, legislators, business leaders, researchers and citizen groups - and it was conceived and organised by a New Zealander.

The coalition will work to push for clean energy across the globe, using an international grid system.

Climate Parliament Secretary-General Nick Dunlop came up with the idea of the Green Grids Initiative several years ago.

He spoke to Corin Dann.
