NZ called on to do more in Pacific climate battle

A New Zealand opposition MP says this country has to make a much bigger effort to help the Pacific adapt to climate change.

The comments from Labour's climate change spokesperson, Su'a William Sio, come after OXFAM called for more aid to help countries adapt to climate impacts already happening.

Su'a, speaking just ahead of this year's Pacific leaders' summit, says while there are supposedly funds being made available for the vulnerable nations it is virtually impossible for them to access them.
