Today's planned maiden flight of a new leased Solomon Airlines jet has been deferred until next week.
The Embraer 170 aircraft was to have arrived in Honiara from Brisbane today.
However, certification issues have delayed the planned flight of the 75-seater plane.
Another bid to bring it into service will be made next week.
In the meantime, the airline's leased Boeing 737 will remain in service.
