The All Blacks have edged the Springboks 19-17 in a historic 100th test match between the two sides in Townsville.
It had been over two years since the teams played their last meeting at the 2019 Rugby World Cup, and both sides were looking to reclaim bragging rights at the Queensland Country Bank Stadium tonight.
The Springboks were coming off the back of two disappointing losses against the Wallabies which have subsequently seen the All Blacks reclaim their throne as the top ranked international rugby team.
The All Blacks are unbeaten so far in the Rugby Championship after convincing wins over Argentina, Australia and now South Africa.
