Police have named the man who died after falling overboard from a vessel off the coast of Whakatāne last week.
He was 39-year-old William Henry Genefaas of Pōmare in Rotorua.
Coastguard boats and helicopters were deployed in search of the man, whose body was found last Thursday after being reported missing overnight.
