Barry Jenkin, aka 'Dr Rock' has been described as the Godfather of NZ punk. He's been the on-air friend of the independent label, the promoter of all that's good and nasty in rock music, the nemesis of 'safe' radio programmers, a perpetual teen stuck in a time warp somewhere between the late 70s and early 80s, and an impossibly deep voice of reason in the world of manufactured cool.
Andrew Dubber speaks to Radio With Pictures pioneer, broadcaster and arbiter of taste Barry Jenkin in 2002.
