Seven teenagers were arrested on Easter Monday after a robbery at an Auckland liquor store.
Police were called to a store in Wynyard Quarter on Monday just before 8am, inspector Dave Christofferson said.
Three of the teenagers broke into a liquor shop at the North Wharf and stole alcohol before meeting up with four others.
"Some of those believed to be involved were found at the Jellicoe St bus stop," he said, "while the others were found hiding nearby in a container".
The teenagers, aged between 13 and 18, were all arrested.
It was later found the 18-year-old did not have "direct involvement" with the alleged break-in.
The other six teenagers have been referred to Youth Aid, and the alcohol taken from the store had been found and returned.
