The Samoa government has denied Inter Island Airways landing rights for on-demand-charters between Pago Pago and Faleolo airport in Samoa.
Sources says the airline was given until October 31 to become a scheduled flight carrier, but that did not happen.
Inter Island has told Samoa authorities that the process takes time as dictated by the Federal Aviation Administration.
Inter Island is now pursing the matter with federal officials and the Samoan government looking for remedies to satisfy issues raised by Samoa's Ministry of Transport.
The airline has advised passengers that flights are suspended until further notice, but is accommodating its passengers on other airlines.
Inter Island continues to operate the territory's domestic flights.
