With falling measles immunisation rates and more people arriving from overseas, New Zealand is at risk of an outbreak.

Pacific health organisation, The Cause Collective are hosting a measles vaccination event called 'Don't Be A Bots, Get Your Shots' in South Auckland this Saturday.

The goal is to get Pacific people aged between 18 and 34 immunised, who are likely to have missed one or both their MMR vaccines.

Event organiser Savannah Harley spoke with RNZ Pacific's Caleb Fotheringham.
