Second Fiji Airways worker charged with drug trafficking

A second Fiji Airways employee has been charged for his alleged involvement in drug trafficking.

Police said the accused, in his 30s, was charged today with one count of unlawful importation and exportation and one count of unlawful possession, manufacture, cultivation and supply of illicit drugs.

He will appear in court today.

Fiji Airways flight attendant Frederick Epeli, 40, appeared in court on Wednesday on similar drug charges.

His case has been transferred to the High Court.
