A Pakistani teenager who was shot in the head by the Taliban is the winner of this year's International Children's Peace Prize.
Malala Yousafzai, 16, now lives in Birmingham, England, where she was treated after the shooting.
She started to write a blog under a pseudonym at the age of 11, about how she felt about being denied access to school. She was shot in the head by the Taliban last October.
Malala will be presented with the prize in The Hague on 6 September.
