A challenge to the results of last month's election in Fiji has been withrawn by the opposition parties.
An election petition, filed earlier this month, raised concerns over the count, the allocation of seats and candidate numbers.
The FBC reported that lawyers for SODELPA and the National Federation Party made an application to withdraw their petition after being restricted to having just two of the eight witnesses they had proposed.
This was granted by the judge who also approved the respondents' request that the opposition parties pay their court costs.
