Police are investigating a sudden death in West Auckland.
A police spokesperson said emergency services responded to reports of a death at a property in Rānui shortly before 8am on Tuesday.
The death is being treated as unexplained.
A scene examination is underway and the public can expect to see an increased police presence in the area.
