A water outage in a West Auckland suburb has come to an end after three days.
A land slip in Swanson following last week's record-breaking rain broke two watermains and cut off water to 250 homes.
Watercare said the supply has been restored and residents were able to access free-flowing water this morning.
The organisation said it set up two temporary watermains to replace those broken by the slip.
Watercare is encouraging people to keep their water use to a minimum until a permanent solution is in place.
