An unexplained death in the Hutt Valley suburb of Wainuiomata last night is being investigated by police.
Emergency services were called to an address at about 11pm, where a 40-year-old man had died.
Police are now investigating the death, which has been described as unexplained.
The man's death will be referred to the coroner.
