Putting together the representatives of five political youth wings was always going to make for a lively discussion, and that’s exactly what happened.
Along with Victoria University of Wellington Students’ Association, The Wireless hosted a debate between representatives of the youth wings of ACT, NZ First, National, the Greens and Labour. We asked them to go head to head on education, the economy, the environment, housing and inequality.
You can see some of the highlights of the audience questions, and the five parties’ answers to the question “what is the one thing your party would do to improve the lives of young New Zealanders?” below. We’ll have the full audio of the debate available on the site soon.
