For the first time in 20 years the Auckland Domain will be part of the Rally of New Zealand.
A one and a half kilometre super special stage will be held on the Domain's sealed roads on the opening day of the rally on Friday May 9th.
The last time the Doman was part of the rally was in 1990 and Rally New Zealand chairman Chris Carr says the inclusion of the Auckland Domain in the official route, ensures at least one competitive stage is held close to downtown Auckland.
