A second case of dengue fever has been identified in the Northern Marianas island of Saipan.
The Commonwealth Health Care Corporation says the patient recently returned from a trip to Palau where it is believed they contracted the infection.
The patient is expected to make a full recovery.
There is still no evidence on island of dengue transmission and the CHCC believes the chance of an outbreak remains low.
The first confirmed case of dengue in the CNMI was reported last month involving another person who had returned Palau.
