Shark teeth contain climate change clues

Now, a little known fact about sharks.

They've been roaming our oceans for more than 400 million years, quietly recording the planet's climate history.

It's fossilized teeth of a now-extinct Sand Tiger Shark species that are telling the clearest story - and they may provide important clues about modern day climate change.

University of California paleo-ecologist professor Sora Kim spoke to Kim Hill.
