More arrests have been made in the police campaign against gangs, Operation Colbalt.

Two men were arrested in northern Hawke's Bay yesterday, after drugs, stolen property and weapons were seized from properties in Raupunga.

A 22-year-old man is due to appear in the Wairoa District Court today on charges relating to failing to stop for flashing lights and possession of an offensive weapon.

The other man also faces firearms and possession of cannabis charges.

"These arrests and search warrants should send a clear message of our commitment to hold to account individuals who believe they can operate outside the law," a police spokesperson said.
