A decision on the fate of earthquake-damaged properties in the eastern Christchurch suburb of Brooklands has been delayed for a third time.
Nearly all the suburb has been in the residential orange zone since June, meaning further assessment is required.
The Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority says a decision due this week has been put off because of the complexity of assessing the land.
Brooklands Residents Association president Annette Buxton says people have been waiting for more than a year and are becoming increasingly frustrated by the delays.
The authority says residents can expect to get more information about the fate of their sections early next month.
