The Prime Minister of Solomon Islands, Sir Allen Kemakeza, is planning visits to New Zealand and Australia next week.
Sources in Honiara say they are reciprocal visits after both New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark and Australia's John Howard made brief trips to the Solomons.
The visits will be used to thank Australia for its leadership of the regional assistance mission, or RAMSI, and New Zealand for its participation in the force.
