One person is in critical condition at Auckland Hospital and another has injuries after a crash in Auckland.

Two vehicles were involved in the crash, reported to police about 2.30pm.
One person was transported to Auckland Hospital by ambulance and is in critical condition.
One other person was injured in the crash.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area as cordons are in place on Whitford Road. They will remain for most of the afternoon, police said.
The Serious Crash Unit was at the scene.
