Jade software has seen an increase in half year profit.
The Christchurch-based company made about $1 million in the six months to June, an increase of 19% on the same period last year.
Revenue rose 36% to $25 million, which managing director, Rod Carr says is due to growth from its existing business and contributions from two companies it bought last year.
Dr Carr says companies are taking a little longer to make software decisions in the face of slowing global growth, but a number of the clients Jade deals with are partly insulated by being regulated or Government-related.
He forecasts that Jade's full year revenue will hit $50 million.
